Originally made for Kikkoman’s “Teriyaki That” creative challenge, this illustration was inspired by teriyaki sauce and its use in many Asian dishes.

My first thought was of hotpot, dipping sauces, and the endless plethora of ingredients that are used in hotpot—thus the depiction of dancing veggies, meat, and other delicious bits around a broth-y end.
