Marisa Dengate is an artist, illustrator, and designer who was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated with honors from the Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan in 2022. Since graduating, she has made illustrative work for editorial, educational publishing, various commissions, and surface design projects. Her work explores the intersection of mark-making, play, and color—capturing the charm in everything from nature's wonders to the diverse fabric of humanity through cuisine, festivities, travel, and more. when she’s not making art, she loves to commune with nature, work on DIY projects, bake sweet treats, or spend time with her family.
