Marisa Dengate is an artist, illustrator, and designer who was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated with honors from the Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan in 2022. Since graduating, she has dabbled in illustrative work for editorial, surface design, retail product design, and more. Her work explores the intersection of mark-making, colorful textures, and kitschy aesthetics—capturing the charm in everything from nature's wonders to cuisine, festivities, travel, and more. When she’s not making art, she loves to commune with nature, work on DIY projects, bake sweet treats, and spend time with her family.
